I want to thank you for the way you worked with me to finalize the purchase of my 2011 Striper. I appreciate the difficulties that can arise when the purchaser does not live close to the dealership and I'm glad you were available to assist me. For those who are considering making a large purchase of a boat or boating equipment, we highly recommend you speak with the folks at Breakwater Marine.
You will not go wrong with this company as we believe in the products and the staff's honesty and integrity of what they stand behind and portray. Whether you are speaking with management, sales and or the folks in service, everyone is very helpful, courteous.
We attended the Vancouver boat show 2011 and I kid you not; we did our homework and toured all of the other high end competing vendors and got their sales pitches, but honestly that is all we walked away with a sales pitch. When it came time to visiting the "Breakwater" booth, it was a night and day difference as there was a sense of calm, and the folks took their time to address everyone one of our key desires on our personal check list. Without giving you overwhelming amounts of information, they spoke with confidence about their product (Larson Senza 206) and explained all points of importance to make us feel at ease with such a large purchase. It never once felt like a rehearsed speech with the hopes of just making a sale. We were sure to make very clear that the 'right' boat for us must be able to prove high engine performance and have excellent hull construction and design.
Before signing our final contract, we met with Breakwater Marine to take the boat out to fully test the performance and handling to ensure that it was going to meet our expectations and put the verbal guarantees to words on paper. We are very pleased to say that we purchased a 20.6 foot Larson ski boat from Breakwater Marine and can't wait for warmer weather to actually get into the lake to enjoy the many opportunities of being a boater.
In closing, we fully recommend Breakwater Marine as they take the time to listen to your needs rather than just hear what you're saying to make a quick sale. They help assist you in making clear decisions as to the 'right' boat that meets your specific needs and most of all; they treat you as an addition to their family regardless of your experience level.

Aaron, It has been 9 months since I began my journey to boat ownership with you and Breakwater Marine. As you know I spent a few years researching what I wanted in a boat and how I wanted to have it fitted when I retired. Your new dealership wasn't on my radar at the time but fortunately I did find you before I made my decision.
Right from the start of our dialogue I knew I could count on you to deliver the boat I wanted at a fair price within the marketplace. After retiring from 37 years as a Banker the most important thing to me was the people and the service. Your personal commitment and patience towards Maggie and I on the sale combined with Jimmie's work on getting the fittings and accessories was nothing short of outstanding. Additionally, working with your service manager during the set up and break-in period again re-affirmed that I had picked the right dealership for our business. Bill and Jimmie both answered all our queries and managed any concerns we had in a prompt and courteous manner no matter how trivial they may have seemed.

I am writing to you today in regards to a recent purchase I made through one of your vendors, Breakwater Marine. On April 26 when taking my daughter to the airport, we drove past your Richmond store location. We noticed the boat show that was handled these repairs over the phone saving us the cost of returning the boat back for repair. We have since gone back to Costco and purchased several other items to use with the boat. We were using thcurrently set up in your parking lot. As we were in the process of actively searching to purchase a boat, this caught our attention. After dropping off my daughter, we returned to the Costco to take a look. We met the salesman and he explained the benefits of the special Costco pricing on the boat and the extra package offered to Costco members. Even though we could have purchased the boat for cash we opted to take advantage of the low cost financing they offered. We signed the deal and put a $1,000 deposit on our Costco Amex Card. After that we went into your Richmond store and spent hundreds of dollars on accessories for the boat.
During the use of the boat I experienced several small problems such as improper readings from the tachometer and the speedometer. It was nice to find out that customer service e boat almost every day with the nice weather.
On the 33rd day of owing the boat, a serious issue occurred. I contacted Breakwater Marine to have the repair taken care of and they got the boat in right away. While waiting for the warranty repair to be completed, I was in urgent need of the boat fixed as I had scheduled the boat to be used for my daughter's school trip. I met with the General Manager and expressed my desire to get the boat serviced as soon as possible. I am ptoud to report Breakwater Marine has gone above and beyond to get my boat repaired and back to me in time for the school outing.
As Costco has a 100% satisfaction guaranty to its customers, I expected the same from its vendors, as they represent Costco. The honest truth is my experience with this company has exceeded this guaranty. I have been a valued Costco customer for almost 20 years and will continue to believe in the high standards that it has to offer and its valued partners.

Dear Aaron,
We wanted to write a letter of thanks and appreciation to you and your staff at Breakwater Marine with reference to the purchase of our Larson 238 Lxi in July 2010. For new boat owners to walk into your dealership and be greeted by well informed and helpful staff made our boat purchase an easy decision.
We started off not knowing what exactly we wanted and with your help, we were able to quickly narrow our decision down to a few choices. After searching and visiting dealerships in the Kootenays, Okanagan, and the Greater Vancouver Area, we soon realized our dream boat was one of the first we saw at Breakwater.
We chose the Larson for a couple reasons. One reason was the reputation and warranty offered on the Larson craft but also because of the way we were treated from the start by the Breakwater team including Toni, Ryan Jr., and Ryan Sr., and of course yourself. The guys and gals in service always addressed any warranty issues right away and have continued to be helpful in so many ways to this day. As first time boat buyers, we really appreciated the easy transition into the world of boat owners.
